XSQUADS is looking for a talented Audio Designer to create and implement impactful sound effects and music for trailers, promotional videos, and in-game content.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality sound effects (SFX), ambient sounds, and background music for cinematics, trailers, and in-game experiences.
- Create dynamic and immersive audio landscapes that enhance storytelling and gameplay.
- Compose and arrange original music tracks tailored to different game and cinematic moods.
- Implement real-time and adaptive audio systems in the game engine for seamless sound transitions.
- Record, edit, and mix Foley, dialogue, and environmental sounds to enhance realism.
- Work closely with Cinematic Artists, Video Editors, and Game Designers to synchronize audio with visuals.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and procedural audio techniques to improve workflow efficiency.
- Balance and master all audio elements to ensure clarity, depth, and consistency across platforms.
- Debug and optimize audio assets to maintain performance without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Audio Designer, Sound Designer, or Music Composer in gaming, film, or digital media.
- Proficiency in DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) such as Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, or Reaper.
- Strong understanding of sound design principles, mixing, and mastering techniques.
- Experience with audio middleware like FMOD, Wwise, or game engine audio systems (Unity/Unreal Engine).
- Ability to create immersive and high-quality sound effects and original compositions.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted sound design tools and adaptive music systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with different creative teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with spatial audio, surround sound, and real-time audio processing.
- Knowledge of procedural audio generation and interactive sound design.
- Ability to compose and produce orchestral, electronic, or cinematic music for different themes.
- Passion for game audio and immersive sound design.
