XSQUADS is looking for a talented Storyboard Artist to help visualize cinematic sequences and dynamic narratives through detailed storyboards.
Job Responsibilities
- Create detailed and visually engaging storyboards to convey cinematic sequences.
- Develop dynamic shot compositions, camera angles, and movement for video sequences.
- Work closely with the creative team to translate concepts into clear, sequential storytelling frames.
- Collaborate with video editors, VFX artists, and animators to ensure smooth execution of cinematic scenes.
- Ensure visual continuity and storytelling flow for trailers, promotional videos, and in-game cutscenes.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of storyboard creation.
- Adapt storyboards based on feedback and revisions while maintaining artistic consistency.
- Stay updated with industry trends to improve cinematography and visual storytelling techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Storyboard Artist in the entertainment, gaming, or animation industry.
- Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, framing, and camera movement.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other digital drawing tools for storyboard creation.
- Ability to visualize action sequences, emotional expressions, and dynamic compositions.
- Understanding of lighting, perspective, and pacing in cinematic storytelling.
- Experience working with directors, animators, and video editors to align vision and execution.
- Strong ability to communicate ideas through sketches, thumbnails, and detailed boards.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of film editing and post-production workflows.
- Experience with storyboarding software such as Storyboard Pro or Clip Studio Paint.
- Understanding of game cinematics and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools for storyboard and concept generation.
- Passion for creating engaging and visually striking cinematic sequences.
